Art of Living – way to live


Everyday thinking about to start writing, reading, meditating, living the life I always wanted and every time my days started with leaving these thoughts. Days, months and years has passed and I have the same thought each day. Procrastination and self-underestimation being the part of my life, I was confused if I was living a life.

Knowing about Art of living two years ago, I always wanted to take the course. But finally, I had a chance to join it and I joined it in March 24, a six days course on “youth empowerment and skills” by AOL.
I don’t remember exactly what we did in our first day session. But we, participants got introduced to a delightful man, who had a good smile, spreading positive vibes among us. He was our teacher who guided us throughout six days of our workshop.

In those six days, I learned skills which I always wanted to. I continuously did yoga and meditation for six days, which I really enjoyed. Realizing some basic facts about life, I really enjoyed it and to some extend I realized it as well. “Accept and act” are two words that always comes in my mind. The basic philosophy behind these two words is simple, accept what happened already, and act accordingly. Another thing I learned in those six days, “don’t be the football of other’s opinion”. Listen to other people, take their comments but make your own decisions.

 These six days made me realized that love everybody, listen to all but live your own life, make your own decisions. I am trying to, each day, every time. And I will try, forever.
